榊原信行さんのインスタグラム写真 - (榊原信行Instagram)「7月30日（日）の超RIZIN.2で皆さんにようやくお披露目できたフライングケージですが、本番を迎えるまでに本当にいろいろな苦労がありました。このフライングケージを発案したスコットは、当初アメリカ国内で設計・製造が出来るメーカーを探していたのですが見つからず、イタリアに発注したそうです。今回はイタリアからその製造チームが来日し組み立てもしてくれたのですが、彼ら曰く、このフライングケージを製造出来るのはフェラーリやランボルギーニを設計し製造出来るイタリア人でなければ無理なんだと自慢げに言ってました。サンノゼから1ヶ月掛けて船で運び、事前に仮組みして補強や微調整はしてはいましたが、ケージからリングへの転換は初めてでしたので当日まで不安で仕方ありませんでした。当日の会場の雰囲気もガラッと変わったので、上手く行って本当に良かったです！今後もみなさんを驚かせられるような演出に積極的にチャレンジしていきたいと思います！ The Flying Cage that was revealed during SUPER RIZIN.2 on July 30th (Sun) has an interesting backstory behind it. Scott Coker came up with the idea of the flying cage but couldn’t find the right people to build it so he had it made in Italy. The designer of the flying cage and staff flew in from Italy early and showed us how it is built, they told us how the Italians design Ferraris and Lamborghinis were very proud of the structure of the cage they have designed. It took a month for the cage to arrive from San Jose, and even after doing a rehearsal days before the event, we were still very nervous of doing something we have never done before. But at the end of the day, the production looked great and we were able to change the atmosphere significantly!
