2nd night at Teatro del Silenzio

Thanks to the music, the performers and the audience for two extraordinary evenings that bore witness to the thrill of flight, reaffirming the rash – like any poetic intention – impetus we first set out in the title “Mariposa” and closing the eighteenth season of the Teatro del Silenzio.

On great imaginative wings formed of voices, instruments, and a flamboyant set, lighting and costuming, the wonder of beauty once again lifted our hearts under the Tuscan sky.

My thanks go to all those who believed in this gamble: fragile and powerful as a butterfly, but able to fly and take us with it, as art and music can.

Thanks also to the 20,000 people who honored us with their presence, thanks to the guests of “Celebrity Adventures,” to my many artist friends, from @real_brown to @giov_caccamo, from @cortolezzis_soprano to @l.u.c.a.m.i.c.h.e.l.e.t.t.i, to @lorenallred, thanks to the students of the Boccherini Conservatory of Lucca, to Carlo Bernini’s podium, to the beautiful sculpture conceived by @pabloatchugarry, and to all those who worked passionately behind the scenes and on every detail of this great shared art project celebrating the land of my beloved Lajatico, which renewed a small but great sound magic in the middle of the summer.
