Empowering women and girls through mental health is at the heart of everything we do, and our work goes way beyond our New York City HQ. Our team was just in Kigali, Rwanda, attending the Women Deliver Conference. We unveiled global research on mental health and empowerment and brought together a group of inspiring women who are changing their communities–and the world–every day. Our work in the women’s mental health and empowerment space started in Rwanda ten years ago.
