In 1953, Vuokko Eskolin-Nurmesniemi created Piccolo, a striped fabric pattern painted with vivid brushstrokes. The Jokapoika shirt, featuring the instantly beloved design, was introduced three years later. Today, this gender-fluid classic is still a favorite of all generations.
