Manny and Patricia Oliver whose son Joaquin “Guac” was killed in the Parkland shooting stopped by our gallery @subliminalprojects with their team to see the @raviamarzupa exhibition which features Ravi’’s guns made from typewriter parts. The typewriter gun sculpture are part of Ravi’s “Mightier Than” series which is a reference to the phrase: “The pen is mightier than the sword.” Manny and Patricia’s org, @changetheref is on a nationwide tour to raise awareness about mass shootings and gun violence. They have an event in LA today. Check it out and support saving lives!⁠
