７月１２日（水）、ウォーマック在日米陸軍司令官が来省し、森下陸幕長と懇談を行いました。懇談においては、戦略環境及び日米連携に係る今後の方向性について認識の共有を図るとともに、ハイレベル間の信頼関係を強化することができました。
陸上自衛隊は今後も引き続き、ハイレベル間の緊密な意思疎通のもと、日米陸軍種間の関係をより一層強化し、日米同盟による抑止力・対処力の充実を図っていきます。🇺🇸🇯🇵

On July 12 of 2023, Major General Womack, Commanding General of the U.S. Army Japan visited Camp Ichigaya and had a discussion with GEN MORISHITA, CS of JGSDF. During the talk, they shared understanding of the strategic environment and the way ahead of Japan-U.S. collaboration, and they further fostered the mutual trust between the senior leadership.
JGSDF will continue closely coordinating at senior level to further strengthen the partnership of Japan-U.S. land forces and develop deterrence and response capability based on the Japan-US alliance. 🇺🇸🇯🇵
