We really focused on details such as thick ajustable straps, ajustable bust for different bust sizes, 3 layers to have a thick supportive fabric, still a sexy opening look, mid coverage.. etc we also picked 2 very different colors to please both types of girls, the more extra & the more chic 🌈 I met Viviane from @lachapelleatelier at Festival Mode & Design in Montreal 2 years ago, I first fell in love with her personality, she was so sweet, always smiling, very positive & confident. Her company was breathing the same energy as her & I was like “she’s the one Hoaka needs to make this project PERFECT” & we started from there 👙 I have to admit, it wouldn’t have been possible for me to do it alone, I think it’s very important when launching such an inclusive collection to very understand the reality of the community knowing for aloooot of plus sizes girlies, it can be a nightmare to find the perfect swim.
