Strong and delicate, architectural and romantic, the contrasts of the Parisienne are fused within silhouettes from the CHANEL Fall-Winter 2023/24 Haute Couture collection designed by Virginie Viard.
On a metallic black tweed coat, layers upon layers of precious craftsmanship embellish the sleeves, lapel and bodice, as metallic pastel yarns are traced with a grid of rainbow crystals blossoming with hand-painted flowers and fig leaves. A black bouclé tweed dress follows suit, its collar embroidered with a v-shaped plastron of sequined fruits and flowers straight out of a still-life painting.
