Meet the Restachios. The family I spent a few months with last summer, and where I was lucky enough to create Let’s Find Yaya & Boo At Home! (Available August 29). I’m lucky to call them my friends.
My gratitude for their help, hospitality, playfulness, and love is on level with the amount of fun I had creating this book with them. Spending that time on their farm is an experience I won’t forget. And having the support of young imaginative minds to create a book made for young minds was truly an invaluable resource. Adam and Jen’s farm was also where I took refuge after Momo left us, so it truly couldn’t have been a more perfect setting.
I had so much fun making this book, and I really hope you have as much fun reading it. I think it shows.
(PS. If you’re passing east of Ottawa, you can stay on their beautiful property near Embrun, they have their tiny home on Airbnb!)
