Fort Greene Park was overflowing with Black joy yesterday. An abundance of beaming smiles and sweltering skin were at every turn during @thelayoutco’s celebration of Black expression and community. Founded by @emilyanadu, Manushka Magloire, @michaeloloyede_, and Cyrus Aaron (@officialallycy) after the murder of George Floyd, The Lay Out creates events throughout the year where Black folks can take up space without fear of their own environment.
