I am always told that I don't look like a typical ◯◯. People don't see me as someone in their late thirties. They don't see me as a painter or someone who creates these artworks. Lately, I don't look like a pregnant woman either. When I got married, they said, “I didn't expect you to get married,” and when I became pregnant, they said, “I didn't think you were someone who wanted children.” Now, they might say, “You don't look like a mother with children.” But I don't feel bad about this phenomenon. It's because I don't fit the typical image associated with age or various societal expectations, and that's what gives me a sense of individuality. Recently, I often hear comments like, “When you become a mother, the atmosphere of your art will change,” or “You'll have the face of a mother.” I seem to have an unconscious rebellious spirit towards these remarks.

I will remain true to my ideals. That's who I am, and that's how it will always be.
