Today is World Ocean Day. 🌎
As surfers, today is a chance to show our appreciation for the ocean, and the role we play in preserving and protecting our incredible marine environment.
Did you know the ocean produces at least 50% of the planet’s oxygen, and absorbs nearly a third of carbon dioxide produced by humans?
World Ocean Day is a chance for us all to raise awareness of the issues impacting ocean health, and take action to protect these precious resources.
To commemorate the day we wanted to highlight our wetsuit recycling program, with over 17,000 wetsuits handed in from the public and counting… this program helps us reduce ocean pollution, and keep wetsuits out of landfill.
