“鬼願”

古代中国から始まった五行思想は日本にも浸透しています。
五行思想は物質（木・火・土・金・水）だけでなく、臓器や感情, 色といった様々なものを5つに分類する考え方です。
この思想は鬼とも結びついており、鬼の色は五行思想が由来になっているとされています。
この作品では5つの感情（喜び=慶, 悲しみ, 怒り, 恐れ, 悩む=悶）を表す文字と5色を使って鬼を書くことで五行の表す自然の摂理や力強さを表現しています。
また鬼は昔話に出てくる悪者から神様まで様々な捉え方をされていますが、この作品では様々な感情を抱えながらも世界の平穏を願い祈る厳しくも優しい鬼を表現しています。

The Five Elements philosophy, which originated in ancient China, has permeated Japan as well.
The Five Elements philosophy classifies not only matter (wood, fire, earth, metal, and water), but also organs, emotions, colors, and various other things into five categories.
This philosophy is also associated with Oni (Japanese demons), and it is said that the colors of Oni are derived from the Five Elements philosophy.
In this work, the five elements of nature and strength are expressed through the use of the letters representing the five emotions (joy, sadness, anger, fear, and distress) and the five colors of the ogre.
Oni are often seen in various ways, from bad guys in old tales to gods, and this work depicts a stern but gentle Oni, who, despite his various emotions, prays for peace and tranquility in the world.
