Nothing says, “I didn’t get enough attention while alive” in medieval times like: I will be enshrined in a marble sarcophagus with a carved statue of me on top along with my faithful dog or pet lion, whichever, or both…at my feet.

Seriously, wow. This massive gothic church steeped in Roman history is just casually centered in town while people walk past & go about their day. -Just mind blowing! I could go there everyday for the rest of my life and discover something new in a painting, tapestry, wood carving, stones and/ or columns. Mind blowing!

Then scones, clotted cream and tea. 🇬🇧 😊 #pinkyup
