武蔵美／空デ／片山ゼミ( 第12期 )4年生 第4課題。“ 明解なコンセプトを持つ 宿泊施設 デザイン ” がスタートしました。
この日は武蔵美から街に飛び出しての授業です。
まずは想定現場である “ BLAMINK ” ( 青山 ) にお邪魔し、スケール感や環境などのリサーチ。
その後 “ パークハイアット東京 ” ( 西新宿 ) と、“ K5 ” ( 日本橋兜町 ) という全く違ったタイプのホテルを見学させて頂きました。
やはりそれぞれが持つコンセプトによってホテルの役割が違うため、デザインのアウトプットが大きく異なります。
実際に空間を訪れ、その場を感じることが1番大切な勉強だということが、楽しく理解できたのではないかと思います。

Musashino Art University /Kuude/Katayama Seminar senior year students' 4th assignment is “Designing an Accommodation with a Clear Concept" has started.
On this day, the class was held outside of the campus.
First, we visited "BLAMINK" (Aoyama) to research the scale and environment.
After that, we visited "Park Hyatt Tokyo" (Nishi-Shinjuku) and "K5" (Nihonbashi Kabuto-cho), two completely different types of hotels.
The role of the hotel differs depending on the concept of each hotel, so the output of the design differs greatly.
I think the most important thing to learn is to actually visit and feel the space. I think students were able to enjoy understanding this.
I would like to thank Ms. Nakamura ( BLAMINK ), Mr. Nishida, Mr. Yoshioka ( Park Hyatt Tokyo ), and Ms. Watanabe ( K5 ) for their valuable time for our students.
