Femininity takes many forms for #DiorCruise 2023 by @MariaGraziaChiuri. Unveiled in Mexico City's @SanIldefonsoMx, the collection's starting point was the multifaceted identities of the 20th-century artist Frida Kahlo mirrored by her distinctive wardrobe. She is referenced obliquely in the variety of butterfly motifs - symbolizing bodily metamorphosis and transcendence - from an ornately beaded motif to the winged insect's presence as an element in lace, a material with which she is associated.
