Now here’s an idea we’d like to try out for size: Extend your kitchen backsplash tile all the way to your breakfast nook. In this Manhattan home, designer Katie Ridder (@katieridderinc) covered the walls in fan-shaped tiles from @mosaichousenyc, a move that allows the light from the outdoor terrace to glimmer around the room. The table is a custom design and the banquette’s cushions are upholstered in a punchy textile from @lulu_dk.
