New data from InKind Direct shows this has tripled to around 9 million. A staggering figure that breaks my heart. I can’t imagine going about my day to day life without feeling clean or having the basic feminine hygiene products needed so I could attend school. We all take so many basics for granted but can you imagine not being able to shower and put on fresh clothes? To brush your teeth? Or put nappies on your child? Over the last couple of months, everytime I did an Amazon or Poundland shop- I added something for the hygiene bank. These donations will be distributed by The Hygiene Bank to my local food banks, schools and other places that support people living in poverty or crisis. 48kg of health and hygiene products going to those who need it the most.
