片山正通さんのインスタグラム写真 - (片山正通Instagram)「マーティン・マクドナー監督／コリン・ファレル & ブレンダン・グリーソン主演 “ イニシェリン島の精霊 ( The Banshees of Inisherin ) ” を劇場で鑑賞する事叶わず・・・ Amazon primeの配信で鑑賞。( 今、本当に劇場で観なかった事の後悔を噛み締めてます。) これは本当に素晴らしい！！！歴史に残る作品です。風景／映像は、息を呑む程に美しく愛おしい・・・とは言っても決して解りやすい作品ではありません。話自体は至ってシンプルながら、そのテーマやメッセージが難解なのです。アイルランドにおける内戦の構造を、この二人のおじさんの小さないざこざに掛け合わせながら、キリスト教の教え／セクシャリティの問題／そして誰にでもあるレイシズム的な振る舞い( 自らも気付かないような些細な事もや ) など多くのレイヤーを、全く説明無しに表情豊な映像に焼き付けた大傑作／怪作です。「いい奴のことはみんな忘れる」という象徴的なセリフは、本当に様々な事を考えさせられます。追伸マーティン・マクドナー監督の前作、 “ スリー・ビルボード／Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri ” をもう一度すぐ観たくなってきました。 I was unable to see "The Banshees of Inisherin" directed by Martin McDonagh and starring Colin Farrell & Brendan Gleeson in the theater......watched it on Amazon prime. ( I really regret not seeing it in the theater now...) This is really great! This is a film that will go down in history. The scenery/images are breathtakingly beautiful and lovely.............but it is not an easy film to understand. The story itself is quite simple, but the themes and message are difficult to understand. The structure of the civil war in Ireland is crossed with the small quarrels between these two men, and many layers of Christian teachings, sexuality issues, and racist behavior (even the smallest things that we don't even notice ourselves) are all depicted in the expressive images without any explanation at all. It is a great masterpiece and a monstrosity. The symbolic line, "Forget all about the good guys," really makes you think about many things. P.S. I am now tempted to watch Martin McDonagh's previous film, "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri" again soon.」5月7日 20時57分
