西伊豆松崎町の「重要文化財岩科学校」🏫

今回は犬の岳を伴った為、入館は叶いませんでしたが、松崎に行くと必ず訪れるほど好きな観光スポットです。

なまこ壁をいかした、社寺風建築様式とバルコニーなど洋風を取り入れた伊豆地区最古の小学校です🎒
*
正面玄関に掲げられてある「岩科学校」の扁額は、時の太政大臣三条実美(さんじょうさねとみ)の書で、その上の龍は入江長八が棟梁の「のみ」を借りて彫ったと伝えられています。
*
作法や裁縫の授業にも利用されていた2階客室の西の間の欄間には、名工入江長八によってほどこされた美しい千羽鶴が、一羽一羽形を変えて描かれています✨
この千羽鶴は左官技法と色彩技法を巧みに融合させた長八作品の傑作です。

It is the oldest elementary school in the Izu district that incorporates Western-style architecture such as shrines and temples and balconies, making use of namako walls.

The horizontal plaque of “Iwashina School” at the front entrance is the calligraphy of Sanjo Sanetomi, Daijo-daijin (Grand Minister of State) at the time.
It is said that Chohachi Irie borrowed the chisel from the master carpenter to carve the dragon on the horizontal plaque.

In the transom of the west room of the guest room on the 2nd floor, which was also used for etiquette and sewing classes, the beautiful 1000 paper cranes made by master craftsman Chohachi Irie are painted in different shapes one by one. is a masterpiece of Chohachi's work that skillfully fuses plastering and color techniques.
