Getting a grasp on just how important fruit and veges are starts at a young age which is why I love the great mahi @5adaynz is doing with their Fruit in Schools initiative. Fruit in Schools is funded by the Ministry of Health and runs in 566 schools across Aotearoa. Tamariki are provided with fruit and vegetables each school day and the teachers get 5+ A Day resources to support students’ learning.
