Last week I completed part 1 of THE GOUACHÉ IN HIGH JEWELRY course THE LIGHT 💡

We learnt how to depict light using gouaché painting, the first stage in creating a High Jewelry piece.

After a presentation of the gouaché technique we painted a white gold piece in the shape of a bow. We used white, black and grey to create shadow and hi-lights.

The view from our class room was a pretty rooftop garden and #HongKong skyline. and within our classroom upon the walls the greats from another age looked down whilst we painted .

It was such a fun and creative morning. I highly recommend.
