You'll need a gel colour that is soft and bllendable and not too thick/pigmented (will be streaky) or runny (will get wiped away when you blend). For the icing cooking effect, I'm using Kimagure Icing Gel AFTER top coat. This is a non wipe gel (it cures shiny) and it has great self levelling properties so it gives a very smooth surface that is a little 3D, just like icing cookies!
