One of the first extracts created by @julianbedel was from the leaves of the Ñire (Nothofagus pumilio) a native tree from the Patagonian Andes with medicine and aromatic compounds not found in any other tree species. Leaves collection is made following good practices defined by the INTA by collecting no more than 10% of the tree leaves and extracted using supercritical fluid technology (SFE). Fueguia did the first known Ñire SFE distillation back in 2012. This ingredient is used in many creations as a Fueguia Captive.
