We are participating in MATSURI, the world’s first joint project aimed at building a new industry with algae-based products, from raw materials for cosmetics to fuel for manufacturing. Algae has the potential to become the foundation of an advanced decarbonized society. The opening ceremony of CHITOSE Carbon Capture Central, the world's largest algae-production facility, was held in Sarawak, Malaysia. CIO Yoshiaki Okabe and other members of Shiseido R&D attended and renewed their commitment to sustainable manufacturing for the future.
