アトモスさんのインスタグラム写真 - (アトモスInstagram)「. 5月12日(金)におけるNew Balanceの”Grey Day”を記念したポップアップショップ、「Grey Box by atmos」をatmos新宿店にて、4月14日(金)より期間限定でオープン致します。　“Grey”というカラーは本質的にシンプルでありながら限りなく複雑で、一見その差は微々たるものであるものの、人間の視覚は何百種類ものグレーの色合いを感知、認識することが出来る。それがスニーカーにどのように適用されるかによって、豊富かつ異なったストーリーを語ることができ、それぞれのカラーストーリーは、1980年代からNew Balanceにおけるスニーカーとその他のデザインの中心となっている。グレーを用いたデザインは長い間、New Balanceのスニーカーの中で基本的な位置付けだったが、80年代以降「990」や「574」といったシグネチャーモデルを筆頭に特別な存在となった。　そんなNew Balanceは2018年から、グレーカラーを記念すべく「Grey Day」を始動。New Balance本体を象徴する”Grey”と、そのアイコンとなるシューズを発表し毎年のGrey Dayを祝う。　2023年はNew Balanceとatmosがタッグを組み、改めて5月12日をGrey Dayと設定し、記念すべき「Grey Day」を祝い讃えるポップアップ「Grey Box by atmos」と題しポップアップストアをオープン致します。New Balanceが誇るグレーカラーをコンセプトとし出現させるGrey Box内には、長きに渡ってNew Balanceが作り上げた歴史と、その歴史において重要な数々のアーカイブスニーカーの展示など、ショップ内で大胆に世界観を演出しております。　また、ウィークリー毎でグレーに因んだコンテンツもご用意。スニーカーのリペア、カスタムを中心とした“RECOUTOURE”を招いたオリジナルカードケースを制作することができる「Custom Workshop」、New Balance好きによるNew Balance好きの為の会合「Local Education」、今回特別にNew BalanceのTシャツにグラフィックを落とし込む事ができる「Apparel Customize」、そして記念すべき「Grey Day」当日の5月12日(金)には、ゆかりのあるアーティストを招いた音楽イベントを開催致します。　他にもグレーに因んだオリジナルドリンクの提供や、ゴールデンウィーク期間中にNew Balance商品をお買い上げ頂いた方へのスペシャルノベルティの配布など、目白押しのコンテンツが盛り沢山のポップアップショップとなっております。　New Balance、atmosによる新たな試みと、Grey Dayを祝い讃えるべく行う期間限定の特別な空間となっております。是非、atmos新宿店に足をお運びください。　本ポップアップは2023年4月14日(金)から5月14日(日)までの1ヶ月間、atmos新宿店にて開催致します。 A pop-up shop "Grey Box by atmos" commemorating New Balance's "Grey Day" on 5/12(Fri) will open at atmos Shinjuku for a limited time from 4/14(Fri).
