LIFE AND PHYSIQUE UPDATE:
Life has been full of UPS and downs lately.
—— From Stella passing, to having my website getting hacked with no access to emails and my car being stolen… it’s been sorta stressful to say the least. 🥴

For me it’s hard sometimes to plan a workout when my mind and body feel all over the place. I wanted to list out 5️⃣ things I’ve doing lately that have been helpful.

☁️ TAKE IT DOWN A NOTCH:
Maybe instead of pushing my regular weight, I’ll set up a circuit that might involve less weight, higher reps and more moment. Doing whatever feels right to you at that moment.

☁️ FIND YOUR HAPPY PLACE:
I’ll do movement that makes me feel my best and what my body is craving that day even if it might be “off my current plan.” Might even be a group class instead of my solo gym sesh.

☁️ ACTIVATE YOUR BRAIN:
Allowing my mind to get into a good place is important and a great way for me to do this is with listening to a podcast or audio books. A couple of things I’ve been enjoying is: Are you the placebo and Expanded.

☁️ TAKE A REST DAY:
Really… Or a super light day and by that I mean I’ll use the day to maybe do abs, go on a light walk, stretch or foam roll. I might also shift to do a more self care day instead.

☁️ GET SOCIAL:
If i feel like my emotional energy is high, I love to txt friends and join them either in a workout or a class! Being around people just might be the perfect thing needed.

RN I’m aiming daily to hit my maintenance macros:
C180g | P125g | F60g | when I’m stressed or my life feels chaotic, I tend to not eat enough! I’m also on my 🔴 rn which then I also crave the wrong macros anyways 🫠 My goal in my current state is to just STAY CONSISTENT…. Stay consistent with my eating and stay consistent with my 5 days of workouts. 🔑

PS: a truly balanced healthy lifestyle is not about beating yourself up because you fall off track with your food or you don’t make it to the gym all your planned days… It’s about being gentle on yourself knowing you’re doing the best you can! Remember you can do anything but not everything!✨ #lifeupdate #goals
