Saddened to hear about the passing of my friend Michael Roberts!
What a talent he was…. writer, editor illustrator, video director, photographer… a true maverick.
Known for his influential fashion, style director of Vanity Fair magazine and the fashion editor of the New Yorker.
I had the honor of being photographed by him for Vanity Fair and my two most cherished
honors were when he did an original illustration for my book I AM IMAN … and asked me to write
the foreword for his book “Jungle ABC” which both my daughter when she was little and now my grandchildren love.

You will truly be missed.
