This domestic season of racing has been an incredibly humbling one. Starting training after my spinal fractures around the new year left me with an uphill battle and a short timeframe to get in any sort of shape. Some flashes of form and speed over the season were promising but ultimately culminated in a disappointing showing in the 100m. Fuelled by competitive spirit and grit I threw myself at the 200m and am humbled to have come away with the national title.
