But not enough to make the companies disappear, almost all over one hundred years old, which today form part of the "Il Cappello di Firenze" consortium, set up as part of the Association of Industrialists of the Province of Florence since 1986, and which associates the main companies of the sector, heirs of the ancient straw processing of the Signa area, where a museum is also dedicated to the art of straw weaving.
