I think I made like $75 for the day working in the video lol but the money didn’t matter. I was used to being broke and just wanted any work that could help elevate my career. It was such a pleasure working with Pink for that $75. Pink was SO nice and down to earth and I said to myself, “Damn I wanna be like Pink one day, starring in my own music videos and being really nice to everyone who works with me.” Cut to 14/15 years later here I am, an independent artist, who has starred in several of my own music videos as well as a massive hit tv show, sitting at @iheartradio awards watching her perform and win her 2023 icon award, on the same day I announced leaving Ridiculousness and getting my own tv show/production deal with @mtv @paramountnetwork. I ran into pink backstage and told her this story and got very emotional and basically started to cry like the nerd I am. Just like 15 years ago, pink was still the same nice, down to earth, bad ass bitch and stopped to hear my story and take this pic with me. I’m here telling y’all this story now because I want everyone who has a dream to know….that dreams DO come true!
