21 de Março foi o Dia Internacional contra a Discriminação Racial. Esse dia ficou marcado pela mobilização, manifestação e protesto de mais de 20mil pessoas na Africa do Sul contra a Lei do Passe. Essa lei foi instituída contra a população negra, que era obrigada a andar com um cartão que dizia onde nós poderíamos circular. A polícia do apartheid abriu fogo contra os manifestantes deixando centenas de mortos e feridos.

Não só por esse dia, mas por todos os outros, que nós devemos e vamos, continuar lutando contra a discriminação racial.

March 21st was The International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. We remember this day in respect for the 20 thousand protesters who went to the streets in South Africa to fight against the “pass laws”. This “law” was designed and worked to segregate the black population. The police opened fire against the protesters killing and injuring hundreds of people.

Not only for this day, but for all the other days, that we shall and we will, keep fighting racial discrimination.

During this conversation to the @sullarazza , by @ユヴェントスFC, for which it was an honor to be invited to, I shared my thoughts and reflections on racism, as it happens in all of its shapes and forms, and affects us, black people, everyday.
