Ikebana is more than just arranging flowers - it is a meditative and healing practice that focuses on bringing a sense of calm, tranquility, and mindfulness to the practitioner. In the delicate creation of Ikebana, my soul finds expression. Two chrysanthemums, each with their unique story, rest in harmony. The younger, greener flower symbolizes the vitality of my inner child, ever curious and playful. While the older, white flower represents the wisdom of my past self, a reminder of the lessons learned and the journey taken. The leaf, once whole, is now halved. A deliberate cut, separating what was once a singular entity. One side curls inwards, as if sheltering and protecting the important parts in me, while the other arches outward, letting go of what I do not need anymore. Through this act, I choose which energies to keep and which to release, carefully tending to my inner garden. As I arrange each stem and petal, I am reminded of the beauty in finding balance. The ebb and flow of life, the constant change and growth. And so, I pour my heart into this creation, a reflection of my soul's journey towards harmony and self-discovery.
