Quick chat about the upcoming workshop, The I’M SORRY MONOLOGUE, with @alicia_coppola who will be doing the workshop with me. The goal- create these monologues based on an experience, a story or an overall sense of your life in the “I’m sorry” space. What this means to you and why. Then we’ll perform them (speak them with connection) among one another. Alicia and I will then start to choose the best pieces from each workshop we do to create them into a showcase. We’d love to eventually get this up on its feet somewhere. It will be not only be cathartic but wonderful to be heard by your peers, developers community AND begin to start a very necessary conversation. You do NOT need previous writing or acting experience- just a willingness to share. We will guide you the rest of the way.
Both Alicia and I have written books, one being a NYTimes best seller- and Alicia has written 2 short films and I finished production on my feature that I wrote. You’re in good hands.
