As you all know, every good story must come to an end. On this day in 2007, I took my first step onto the ice. 16 years later, I am happy to announce that I am finally retiring from competitive figure skating (yay!). I am so fortunate to have met so many great people through skating. To all my coaches around the world, thank you for all the lessons and life skills you’ve taught me. To my family, thank you for supporting me in every way from my first step on ice. And to my very tiny group of fans/followers, thank you for sticking with me throughout this career. With 5 national titles, 3 Jr Worlds, 2 Four Continents, 6 seasons of JGPs, and over 10 years of international competitions and games, I am so honored and proud to have helped introduce Thailand to the skating world. I look forward to seeing what the next generation of skaters does to continue pushing figure skating forward in Thailand. No matter how many mistakes I made, if I could go back in time, I would probably still make 7-year-old Palmy do the whole thing again. Skating will forever be a part of me, and nothing will ever change that. I am so excited to pursue my skating in a different path and move forward to very new things in life (grad school!)
