Near Flagstaff, AZ By @salvarezphoto (Stephen Alvarez) the night sky always gets me excited. As basically urban westernized people we have largely lost touch with the magic of the darkness. Our ancestors who lived without the life saving convenience of electricity saw skies like this often. For them the movement of stars and planets across the sky were familiar and orienting. For me they are a rate treat and a reminder of how huge the world is.
