I showed up for myself by doing the work, caring for my body, and choosing to extend myself, physically, each day on the ice. Showing up for myself off the ice, I’ve learned, looks a little different and there have been some habits that I’ve had to unlearn. As I reflect on the year that was, I’m grateful for stillness and the opportunity to sit with discomfort. To work through changes.
