atmosより中国旧正月を祝う、New Balance “Lunar New Year Collection”が登場。
本コレクションは、新たな1年の始まりである旧正月を家族や親しい仲間と過ごす大切な時間を表現。温かみのある、ベージュ、グレー、ブラウンなどニュートラルなカラーリングを採用。また縁起が良いとされる赤を深みのあるガーネットレッドを用いて、インソール、付属のシューレースなどにアクセントとして取り入れられる。 “Lunar New Year Collection”のラインナップは、復刻して以来トレンドとしても知られる“BB550”、atmosとしても高い人気の誇る“M2002R”と“M2002RD”、オールマイティの定番モデル“U574”、そしてハイテクとヘリテージを掛け合わせた”U9060”。New Balanceならではの様々な名作が列挙する。
旧正月は再生の時。様々な願いを持つ多彩な人々を受け入れ、包容力を祝うための1年に一度の大切な時間。そんな旧正月を表現した温かみがあり自分にピッタリの一足で新年を祝福しよう。
今回のアセットは、渋谷区原宿に位置する昭和41年創業の昔ながらの大衆中華食堂「紫金飯店」(@shikinharajuku)協力の元撮影。同じく原宿発信であるatmosならではの視点で、”Lunar New Year”を解釈しローカルコミュニティに昇華したルックも必見。
本コレクションは2023年1月2日(月)よりatmosオンラインストア、atmos各店(一部店舗除く)、ニューバランス公式オンラインストア、ニューバランスオフィシャルストア(一部店舗除く)にて販売致します。本日よりatmosオンラインストアにて抽選を開始。
また発売日に合わせて、atmos新宿店にて“Lunar New Year Collection POP-UP”を開催致します。旧正月の本来の文化と世界観をatmosが空間で表現。新年ならではのキャンペーンやノベルティも満載の豪華な内容となっております。(キャンペーン詳細は後日発表予定）

New Balance “Lunar New Year Collection” to celebrate Chinese New Year from atmos.
This collection expresses the precious time spent with family and friends during the Lunar New Year, which is the beginning of a new year. Uses neutral colors such as beige, gray, and brown. In addition, the deep garnet red, which is said to be auspicious, is used as an accent for the insole and attached shoelaces.
This assets was photographed in cooperation with "Shikin Hanten", an old-fashioned popular Chinese restaurant founded in 1966 located in Harajuku, Shibuya. These look that interprets “Lunar New Year” and sublimates it to the local community from the perspective of atmos is also from Harajuku.
This collection will be on sale from Jan 2nd, 2023(Mon) at the atmos online store, atmos stores (excluding some stores), the New Balance official online store, and the New Balance official store (excluding some stores). The lottery will start at the atmos online store from today.
In addition, we'll hold “Lunar New Year Collection POP-UP” at atmos Shinjuku store on the release date. Campaign details will be announced at a later.
