On top of that, @saaswim raised an additional $500,000, with appreciation to the @lustgartenfdn , to create a $660,000 grant bucket (WOAH). The $660,000 is being applied to three grants to fight pancreatic cancer in honor of my Dad, Ted Beisel: a) One (1) $60,000 grant to Dr. Peter Yu (who is pictured in slide two and featured in the podcast linked in my bio, please have a listen) to research pancreatic cancer cell lines to test combination chemotherapies and measure their metabolic responses to treatment. b) Two (2) $300,000 team science awards for early pancreatic cancer detection will be announced in 2023. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to every single person who donated and played a role in raising well over A HALF A MILLION DOLLARS for cancer research.
