On Sunday 13th, a conversation between movie director and artist Steve MᶜQueen and film critic Elvis Mitchell introduced the screenings of MᶜQueen’s complete television series Small Axe (2020) (@smallaxeseries) at @FondazionePrada’s Cinema in Milan.
Steve MᶜQueen's first television series takes its title from an African proverb meaning 'together we are strong'. His anthology of 5 films celebrates all that a community has succeeded in achieving against the odds, and it is still unseen in Italy.
#FondazionePrada Cinema will premiere the complete series in the following two weekends (18 -19 and 25 – 26 June 2022). Screenings are free upon availability.
