Albert and I shared a special bond together; he made me a softer and better person. He taught me how special pets and animals naturally are. He made me laugh and cry. He was and will always be my pal. When covid first appeared, our employees began working remotely. This left Albert and me together at the office every day. Albert helped me through difficult times during this period. Anytime life got rough or lonely, Albert was on my desk, glaring at me and sharing his love. He was demanding when he was hungry and always let me know. A paw to the head was his go to. He offered me time to pause during work hours. He made me feel young again as we played games together. He taught me how to not take life so seriously. He listened to music with me; he loved Van Morrison and other great artists from the 70’s on. He was simply a “cool cat.” I will miss him more than words can express, but I’m choosing to remember and celebrate the life Albert lived! He blessed me with a lifetime of wonderful memories.
