Ketanji Brown is BRILLIANT and I’m so honored that she is representing Black women with grace as she is steps away from history. But I would be lying if I said watching her confirmation is easy or even something I’ve been able to sit through.

Far too many women that look like me know exactly what it feels like to be questioned, gaslit, talked down on, and degraded the way Ketanji has and it only reaffirms how little respect American society has for Black women.
