The character designs and color combinations used in a lot of anime/video games really inspired my creations, and it was always fun for me to bring some ‘weeb’ or ‘otaku’ elements into my works.⁣ ⁣ My early looks are very simple, and they are mainly re-creations of characters/scenes from anime or games, but now I focus more on how to express the inspiration with more abstract art, so even people who aren’t familiar with the original inspo can still enjoy my works,” says Melody, who uses a variety of materials including water-activated liners, colorful eyeshadows and rhinestones to create her looks.⁣ ⁣ “I discover a new ‘me’ every time I put on a different look.
