Being young we always chose a means to stand out. To be the razor blades cutting against the grain of social infrastructure. Being on a skateboard did exactly that for us. It provided us a space for self-expression and individuality. When we went to skate that’s when we felt the most free. We did whatever we wanted, whenever we wanted, and however we wanted. We felt unbound by the laws enforced by society. Young, wild, and free.
