When I moved to Paris, early 90s, André took me under his wing.

My 1st show was in my store in the Marais - as tiny as a box of matches.
Naomi Campbell modelled - thanks to my champion - my career in Paris - launched.

Through André, I also met my dear friend, Lee Radziwill.
The last time I saw him; at her funeral. We spent that day together.

André was everything everyone says about him; elegant, extravagant, exuberant, intelligent.
André was funny, we would hoot with laughter.
André was also a sweet, sensitive, dear man who I already miss terribly.

The world is a duller place without you but you left a HUGE indelible mark.
