豊田章男さんのインスタグラム写真 - (豊田章男Instagram)「. 先週末の7日、TOYOTA GAZOO Racingラリーチャレンジの最終戦が豊田市で行われ、今年最後のラリーに参加しました。今回もコドラは「ノリさん」こと勝田範彦選手。そして、大会のゲストは世界ラリー選手権（WRC）で活躍する勝田貴元選手。モリゾウからのお願いに応えて、親子でデモラン競演も披露していただくなど、大会を盛り上げ、会場のファンを笑顔にしてくれました。今年の豊田ラリーではテクニカルセンター下山がSSのコースに加わりました。ドイツ・ニュルブルクリンクに倣ってつくったテストコースは、高低差が激しく、次々とカーブが迫る過酷な道になっています。普通なら、機密満載で絶対に公開しません。しかし、「道がクルマをつくる」。どのような道で「もっといいクルマづくり」を進めているか、皆さんにも見ていただきたいと思い、昨年、提案したところ、関係者の努力で実現することができました。ギャラリーステージや沿道には多くのファンが駆け付けてくれ、ラリーが多くの方に浸透してきたことを感じました。モータースポーツの発展のためには、すそ野がしっかりしなければなりません。そんな想いで、これからも草の根のラリーをしっかりと盛り上げていきたいと思っています。 Last weekend I participated in the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Rally Challenge Final Race. Nori-san, Norihiko Katsuta, was our co-driver again, and the guest for the race was Takamoto Katsuta, a WRC racer. The Father and son of the Katsuta family had both willingly responded to my request and performed a demonstration run. Their performances indeed made the fans smile. In this rally, we introduced Toyota Technical Center Shimoyama as the new SS in the course. This testing course was inspired by Nurburgring, with intense elevation differences and numerous curves, making it challenging for drivers and vehicles to drive. We will not usually disclose to the public because of its confidentiality. But we believe that “Roads make cars.” So I suggested the importance of presenting it to the public on what “road” we are pursuing to make “ever-better cars.” We had many fans coming to the gallery stage, and I felt from my heart that the rally racing had started to spread throughout Japan. For Motorsports to grow, the roots must be firm.
