Comment below👇🏽  I never quite understood that concept till I realized most people crash diet 2 weeks before an event or in summer months. I’ve literally had girls message me I have 30 days to lose 50 pounds 😳...no!   What happens is you may lose weight fast but you’ll find yourself more stressed about your diet. You will not enjoy the experience itself. That’s not the weight that stays off long term. You’ll likely gain it back and then some because of the “crash” approach.   If you take on your body transformation in the winter you’re not so rushed. You have time to make mistakes and get back on. You learn long term approaches that help you keep your results. Learning to meal prep, read labels, and work on your internal food issues is key to long term results. Most of us relate emotion to food in some way. Do you eat your feelings? 🙋🏽‍♀️  The goal isn’t always to be skinny. Most times we just want to be happy in our skin and that doesn’t involve a scale number or dress size. The biggest transformation is the mental one which takes time. You can’t change your mental perceptions with food you have in 2 weeks! Does that make sense?  When it comes to body image I teach my clients that once you love yourself from within, the outside comes together easier. December, January, and February are the best months to get started! Take your time because the process is never easy starting out. Allow yourself time to fall in love with the process and find what works for you.   I’m leaving for a cruise 🚢 to the Bahamas in 2 weeks. Sure I’m 5 pounds heavier I have some rolls on my back a little cellulite on my thighs but you know what... I’m good! I have 4 kids and I feel good I have a good soul. I learned through fitness that I am good enough.   I’ve noticed quite a bit of bad stuff on the Internet regarding health and fitness. I’ve been thinking about diving back in and taking a small number of clients again looking for a body transformation.
