To avoid the restrictions of COVID-19, I decided to make a major change in the original plan, adding a film visualization of this project from footage taken while traveling around various locations. ㅤ After hijacking the entire digital billboard at Shibuya Crossing under the state of emergency, and a no-audience screening at the Edward VII Theater under the Paris lockdown, the project was completed with a public activation at two locations where the movie "Kill Bill" was filmed. ㅤ This series of presentations mirrored the #StopAsianHate movement which was happening at the same time, and the original ritualistic meaning of the work evolved into a more powerful one. ㅤ In the last city, LA, I chose locations from a Quentin Tarantino film because his films, which represent Hollywood, show Asian cultures from a Western perspective. ㅤ ㅤ #01 Feb 11-13, 2021 @ KYOTO ㅤ #̶0̶2̶ ̶F̶e̶b̶, ̶2̶0̶2̶1̶ ̶@̶ ̶L̶A̶ E̶V̶E̶N̶T̶ ㅤ #02 Mar 02, 2021 ㅤㅤ@ TOKYO ㅤ #03 May 20, 2021 ㅤㅤ@ PARIS ㅤ #04 Jul 07-08, 2021 @ LOS ANGELES ㅤ and #05... ㅤ ㅤ 私の作品は緊急事態宣言下の京都で行った物理プレゼンテーションから始まりました。コロナの影響を避けるために元々の企画から大きく変更し、映像化することで各地を行脚しながら内容を拡張していく企画になったわけです。 ㅤ 緊急事態宣言下の渋谷・スクランブル交差点デジタルビルボードの全面ジャック、ロックダウン下のパリ・エドワード七世劇場の貸切無人上映を経て、ロサンゼルス・映画「KILL BILL」のロケ地2ヶ所でのパブリックアクティベーションで完結しました。 ㅤ この一連のプレゼンテーションは、同時期に起こった #StopAsianHate と呼応し合い、本来の儀式的な意味合いは更に強いものに進化していきました。  ㅤ最後の地、LAでクエンティン・タランティーノ作品の会場を選んだのは、ハリウッドを代表する彼の作品が、西洋の視点からアジアの文化を映し出しているものだからです。 ㅤ #keepall #unkeepall #killbill」7月15日 7時37分
