In Japan, we have a custom of expressing our gratitude toward those we work with or are indebted to in kindness by sending gifts twice annually, in the hight of summer and dead of winter toward the end of the year. Usually, the gifts consist of seasonable food items. And so we decided to prepare our signature cookies for the occasion and to offer 1,000 cans for sale. We @tonari_no_kaikado released it yesterday and 986 have sold already. To place the order for the remaining few, please see the link in the profile.
Last year around now, with the pandemic raging, we decided to close our cafe and bake cookies for online sales. Our staff, however, had originally been hired to work at the cafe, so they all eventually quit; I had to hire new patissiers, build a new kitchen, and set up a specialized cookie production studio. We still had to deal with a lot, but I am so happy to report here that we are finally at a place where we can produce 1,000 cans of cookies.
But to those of you overseas who have read this massage—I must apologize. We can't send our cookies outside of Japan because our cookies are fresh and the best-by date is only 14 days from production. I am sorry. In the near future, I'd like to open a brick-and-mortar store where people can buy our products whenever they want. I'll be sure to et you know when that day comes.

日本には暑い夏と、真冬の年末年始の頃の2回、お世話になった方への感謝の気持ちを表す習慣として、贈り物をいたします。大概はシーズナブルな食べれる贈り物をします。其処で僕らは自慢のクッキーを作りまして、1000缶、販売することにしました。 @tonari_no_kaikado 昨日発売して、986缶売れてしまって、あともう少しだけ残って居るそうです。

兎に角、去年の今頃、パンデミックの猛威の中、カフェを閉店させてクッキーを焼いて通販することにしました。
でも、もともとカフェで雇った人達だったので、みんな辞めてしまって、そして新たにパテシェを雇直して、キッチンも新調して、クッキーの専門制作工房を作って、そこでもいろいろあって、やっと、今回、1000個できるようになりました。なので嬉しくてこうして報告させてもらってます。
でも海外の皆さん。このメッセージを読んでくれたのに申し訳ないです。何故なれば、日本国外への発送が賞味期限が14日間しか無いために、送れないのです。すみません。
また、今は通販だけなんですが、近い未来、お店をちゃんと作って買いたい時に買ってもらえるような体制まで持つまでいきたいと思います。その日が来たら報告しますね。
