Their marginalisation in countries in which they seek asylum, and the mental health impacts of the lives they are forced to lead, are rarely examined. The organisation @robin_hammond founded, @Witness_Change, believes that supporting refugees to share their stories can reduce stigma and humanise their experience. #1000Dreams supports refugees to tell their own stories - stories of strengths, challenges and dreams. 40 refugee storytellers in Europe have been trained & mentored while they produce 1000 portraits and interviews of other refugees on the continent.
